How to plant Late season garlic
When it comes to garlic most need to be planted before the cooler weather of Winter as the cold snap is what makes the bulbs form individual cloves but if you have a new garden or forgot or even lost it over the Winter you can still plant this – ‘Venetian White’ garlic available from Seeds of Italy

MAKING QUINCE JELLY OR MEMBRILLO
Membrillo or Dulce de membrillo or carne de membrillo is a wonderful fragrant paste which goes perfectly with cheese its eaten lots in Spain and isnt difficult to make and really makes a fantastic addition to the kitchen.
It takes time and a little patience but I would grow a Quince for the flowers alone so this is a great bonus
