BROCCOLI AND ROMANESCO

This is my fifth video in my winter greens series. Both Broccoli and Romanesco are much easier to grow than Cauliflower and in the case of Broccoli can be picked over a longer periods as you can pick just the florets that you need.  People also forget that you  can cook the leaves of both of these varieties, which  can be eaten in the same way as cabbage but most people simply discard them, such a waste.  Romanesco has the most wonderful architectural curd and fascinatingly the florets follow Fibonacci sequence for those maths geeks out there!
