GROWING TOMATOES IN A QUAD GROW—- FILM 2

In this second film i explain why and how to mix the feed that will have arrived with your Quad Grow and why to keep to topped up.Already there is a slight difference in vigor of the plants in the Quad Grow as opposed to the Growbags

One of the great advantages of this method is that your plants dont get stressed when the days get hot as they never entirely dry out and stressed plants are always more likely to suffer disease

TOMATO GROWING IN QUADGROW

This seemingly simple piece of equipment overcomes two of the major problems of growing tomatoes, that of over watering and blossom end rot, whilst simultaneously doubling the crop produced.  Also when growing peppers, aubergines or dwarf beans it gives you an increased yield without the daily requirement of watering.

How to make a Hotbed

Using the Great No-Dig concept but adding the age old technique of constructing a HotBed we can create a growing space that will allow us to harness the free heat generated by composting manure to grow early crops.

I have used this method for years and although its simple it gives great results

This technique was used at Chatsworth and Heligan to grow pineapples and Citrus in purpose made beds I have just taken this technique and adapted it for Vegetables using readily available Horse Manure

If you would more information on Hotbeds I have compiled a resource post which contains all my films on hotbeds,  just click the link below
