GROWING POTATOES IN A BAG – CROPPING

If you dont want to devote the space to growing main crop potatoes in your garden or you would like to new potatoes with your Christmas dinner the best way to grow them is in a container or bag. I have never seen the point in paying good money for a ‘specific potato growing bag’ when they are perfectly happy in a recycling bag supplied by yoru local council. Just 12 weeks after planting these potatoes I show you what sort of crop you can expect from them.

NO DIG STRAW BALE RAISED BED CONSTRUCTION

The title is far more complicated than the construction!!
One of the quickest and most effective ways of creating a new productive vegetable bed is by combining the techniques of No-Dig growing and the use of Straw or Hay bales.This film explains how and why i find this such a great way to add growing beds quickly and get the bed productively producing fresh vegetables the shortest time.

Its so easy to build and within 40minuites i was planting Courgettes,Summer Squash and Winter Squash in this new No-Dig Raised bed

NO DIG HOT BED—– APRIL UPDATE

This second film shows the amazing germination and growth that the hotbed generates after only a few weeks while growth in the normal beds at this time of year is nearly at a standstill, or at best just starting.
